Bharat Architect says that he hopes that the appreciation for what an Architect can do for the society at large takes root here, especially in North India. He looks for discernible clients in town and around to display to them the 'power of design'. He says that in so far as Architecture is concerned, all design shall begin with sketches and plans and layouts, rather than computer generated 3D views straightaway. This way or method is not obsolete and holds true today as it did 5 years ago or 25 years ago. That is how Architects are supposed to work! Plus, people should understand that they should not give in to the ill informed ideas and views of vested interests. An Architect has the tremendous potential to affect people's lives, only if the society at large is willing to listen to the truly educated professionals and do and act accordingly, only if there is trust. Else the murder of Architectural practises of well meaning Architects shall continue.
